The Beginning

I am a fool. I have accepted that I am. Sometimes I think that I might not be as much of a fool as someone else, but then I think about our foolishness compared to the infinite wisdom of God. On His scale of wisdom and foolishness, because God’s scale is so large since His wisdom is unending, there would be an indistinguishable difference between my foolishness and any other person’s on that scale. In my foolish journey through this life, I am at the very beginning of wisdom. I know that wisdom exists because foolishness most certainly exists, therefore, wisdom must exist. I recognize a trait of this universe we live in, which is that almost everything here has an opposite. Wisdom has foolishness. Wet has dry. Light has dark. Good has evil. Opposites are designed into the nature of this universe. It’s an interesting trait of this universe because it means that searching one side of an opposite pair helps you understand the other. It means that you don’t have to explore evil to understand it. Instead, explore good and you can also understand evil. But, if you happen to be down the path of evil, you can still understand good from where you are so that you’ll be able to change your direction. I wonder if Adam and Even in the Garden of Eden could have gained the knowledge of good and evil without eating from the forbidden tree 🕮, instead searching out the goodness of God. I want to search out the depths of the goodness of God. I want to journey into the depths of Jesus Christ. I could search His depths for all of eternity. His heart, mind, and spirit have no bounds! Every new piece of understanding I receive will help me to see further into the journey ahead. I want that. Especially because I can’t see very far are this stage. I’ve noticed that few people on Earth can. It is written in the bible that there are things in heaven that are unspeakable on earth. I don’t know the full meaning of that, but I believe that there are humans in heaven that now understand far more than they could ever have understood during life here on Earth. I am also certain that whatever can be searched out in God while we live on this earth is found within Jesus Christ himself. It is written in the bible that through Jesus all things were made. Within Him, lies all searchable truths. I believe that I was created for this journey. So were you.

You may not know this, but there is a person who dreamt of me even before my birth. He dreamed how amazing I would be if I were to be alive on the earth. He dreamed of seeing me. He dreamed of being in my company. He dreamed of talking to me, of sitting with me and walking next to me. He dreamed of holding my hand and hugging me. He dreamed so much of me that He couldn’t imagine an existence without me. And because this person had the power, after all He imagined about me, He created me so that all that He imagined would come true. I want to know this person! If He dreamed of me so strongly that He couldn’t continue His existence without me in it, then I want to know Him! There is no other love like that on this earth. I want to know that love and I want Him to have everything that He ever dreamed about me. That same person dreamed of you too.

So here we start as fools, at the very beginning of wisdom. On a journey into the depths of the person who dreamed of us so strongly that He couldn’t continue His existence without us. His name is Jesus. I want to know Him. So do you.
