Your life proves what God says!
Did you know your life is actually proof of what God says? Seriously! Your life tells a story about who God is and who you are to Him. So, let's get real simple about how your life proves what God says!
There’s this ancient story in the Bible about God, Satan, and a man named Job. One day, God asks Satan what he’s been up to. Satan says, "I’ve been roaming the earth." God replies, "Have you seen my servant Job? He’s devoted to me." Satan fires back, "Of course he is - you’ve protected him and made him rich. Take all that away and he’ll ditch you." God basically replies, "Not true. I'll prove it."
So, God allows Satan to test Job. What happens next is brutal. Job loses his family; looses his wealth; looses his health; looses everything! But even in his pain, Job stays loyal to God. In the end, Job’s response to what happened proves Satan wrong and God blesses Job with even more than he had before the trial.
It’s a wild story - one of the oldest ever told. But why does it matter?
Because it shows us that our lives are living answers to what God says about us.
Ok, here’s the simple but important part: God speaks good things over you. He calls you loved, valuable, strong, chosen. But Satan challenges that. He accuses what God said about you. He bets that when life gets hard, you’ll walk away from God.
Just like Job, you are in the middle of that argument. Your life - the way you respond to heartbreak, betrayal, loss, disappointment - is what proves who’s right: either God or Satan.
Maybe your life has already been harder than Job’s. Maybe you’ve been abandoned, abused, overlooked, lied to, or crushed by things no one else even knows about. But that only makes your story more powerful.
So here’s the question: Will your life prove God right about you? Or will it prove Satan’s accusations? Your life is your chance to answer.
